The Basic Pistol Course, NRA gun safety training course I offer meets the requirements for a CT Gun Permit, and with the successful completion of the basic pistol class you will receive a NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Certificate to bring to your local Police Department. During your handgun safety course, you will learn the different types of pistols, calibers, and ammunition for self defense, in the home and outside the home, as well as target shooting. Then you will learn the proper grips for a semi-auto pistol and revolver and the different stances. The class finishes with a review of all the information and provide you with the paperwork required to bring to your local PD to obtain your CT Pistol Permit.
